Marie Jung

Marie Jung is a doctoral student in KU's Clinical Psychology Program and a member of the Behavioral Health Research Group, working under Dr. Richard Yi. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UC Santa Barbara in 2019, and has been working as a Research Associate Technician at the University of Michigan Medical Campus in recent years. Broadly speaking, her research interests include examining environmental factors that contribute to both maladaptive decision-making and the risk of substance use disorders, as well as the mechanisms underlying each. Additionally, she plans to explore the use of behavioral economics to inform and develop substance abuse interventions.
