Biography

Dr. Williams is an Assistant Professor in Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences department at the University of Kansas Medical Center. She earned her bachelors in Psychological Science from Gustavus Adolphus College, and her advanced degrees in Clinical Psychology from Texas Tech University. She recently completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Rutgers University Center for Alcohol and Substance Use Studies. Dr. Gette's research broadly focuses on determinants and correlates of substance use across two domains: indicators of use and prevention/intervention strategies. She is interested in cannabis and alcohol use in particular.
