Biography —
Dr. Jessica Powers is an Assistant Scientist in the Cofrin Logan Center and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology. Her research focuses on pain, substance use, and health behavior as it relates to cancer and chronic illness. She takes a multi-method approach to identify pain-related mechanisms to inform and develop tailored and accessible interventions. She earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from Northwestern University and her Master's and Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology from Syracuse University.
