Kate Esterline is a clinical psychologist jointly positioned at the Cofrin Logan Center for Addiction Research and Treatment and at KU’s Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS). She provides specialized individual therapy to KU students who want to address substance use and addiction in their lives. Dr. Esterline also facilitates addiction recovery groups on campus where students can support one another in working toward their recovery goals. Dr. Esterline is interested in college students’ mental health and in the intersection between substance use and stressors related to LGBTQIA+ identity.
