Spring Seminar Series to Feature Nationally Renowned Expert in Addiction Health Disparities in Racial and Ethnic Minorities

We will kick off our Spring Seminar Series with a talk on community-responsive interventions for addictive behaviors from Deputy Director of the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities.

 

 

Addiction Researchers Recount How They Made Recovery Meetings Available Remotely During Pandemic

The COVID-19 pandemic has created new perils and challenges for people experiencing substance use disorders and engaging in addictive behaviors. Read more about how researchers at the Cofrin Logan Center made addiction mutual help (SMART Recovery) groups accessible to the community during the pandemic.

 

 

Researcher Receives Grant to Study the Relationship between Addiction and Decision-Making

A federal grant awarded to a Cofrin Logan Center investigator will support a study to test the effectiveness of a digital working memory training program as a pre-treatment adjunct to aid tobacco smoking cessation.
